Making and Sharing Kimchi @EW#EWSTYLE
Around this time in Korea, every household prepares for winter. One of the major preparations for winter is having Kimjang or kimchi-making event.

Kimchi is made with thoroughly washed napa cabbage.

Pickled seafood paste.

With gloves on, generously apply seafood paste onto each leaf of the cabbage.

East-West's own Top Chef, Mrs. Kim, leads Kimjang.

Once the napa cabbage is fully layered with seafood paste, store in a plastic container, removing all excess air, and place in the refrigerator. Ferment to taste.

Through Kimjang friends, family members, and neighbors come together and help each other to make kimchi.

Enjoy with family and friends.

HS Korean classes and the East-West community joined together to help each other make kimchi.
