In celebration of Women's History Month, our school congratulates Ms. Patterson who was recently honored by The Association of Black Educators of New York (ABENY) for being an outstanding teacher. Nominated by Ms. Park, our high school guidance counselor for going the extra mile for all her students, Ms. Patterson received an exceptional award honoring African-American Women of Achievement. Ms. Patterson is a third year teacher at East-West and has been an advisor to our Junior NAACP Club and Girl Club. Click here for more photos from the event.

Bong San Tal Chum
