  • High School Schedule Changes - June 17

    Good Morning
    Dear High School Parents
    This is the East-West School calling with an important announcement about the schedule for
    Thursday, June 17.

    • Thursday June 17, all high school students are released, except for NX Extra Support Classes and the students who registered for the ELA Regents exam. This is because of Regents testing and scoring.
    • Thursday June 17 there are NO ENRICHMENT classes.   
    • 9th and 10th Grade in-person Blended learners should not come to school Thursday except for NX Extra Support Classes or because they registered totake the ELA Regents.
    • On Friday June 18, Enrichment and Extra Support Sessions will resume at 8:30 AM. 
    • If you are not sure if your child registered for the ELA Regents or have questions about the schedule, please email Ms. Park at jpark@ewsis.org

    Esta es una llamada de la Escuela East-West con un anuncio importante sobre el horario para
    este jueves, 17 de junio.

     El jueves 17 de junio, todos los estudiantes de la escuela secundaria son liberados,
    excepto las clases de apoyo extra de NX y los estudiantes que se inscribieron para el
    examen ELA Regents.  Esto se debe a las pruebas y la puntuación de Regents.

     El jueves 17 de junio NO hay clases de ENRIQUECIMIENTO.
     Los estudiantes de 9º y 10º grado de aprendizaje en persona no deben asistir a la escuela
    el jueves, excepto para las clases de apoyo adicional de NX o porque se inscribieron
    para tomar los ELA Regents.

  • June PTA Meeting - Wed 6/16

    Good evening, this is the East-West School of International Studies calling with an important message. Our next PTA meeting will be held on Wednesday June 16 th at 6pm.   • Class of 2021 Yearbook, Cap and Gown, Graduation Ticket Pickup: 6/9 @ 1:30 PM

    Dear parents, this is an important message from East-West School. "Students are invited to pick up their Yearbook, Cap and Gown, and Graduation Tickets tomorrow, Wednesday June 9, from 1:30 PM to 3:30
    PM. Students should go to the side ramp entrance/exit on Colden St near the corner of Juniper Ave. If your child is unable to come to school on Wednesday, please email Ms. Park to schedule an alternate pick up
    date. If your child is failing any required classes for graduation or did not pay Senior dues, they should not come to school on Wednesday to pick up these items." Thank you and have a great day!

  • Memorial Day & Chancellor’s Day 2021 School Closed - Phone Blast

    Memorial Day & Chancellor’s Day 2021 School Closed
     

    Good Evening, This is the East-West School calling with an important message. In observance of Memorial Day on May 31st, school will be closed. On June 3rd, Chancellor’s day, students will not be in attendance. Students should continue remote and in-person learning on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, June 1st, 2nd, and 4th. Thank you and have a pleasant evening.
