    Hello, this is the East-West School of International Studies calling to remind you that Parent Teacher Conferences will take place Thursday, March 10th 2016. The afternoon session will be from 12:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. and the evening session will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please note that Thursday, March 10th is a half day of school.   All students will be dismissed at 11:11 a. m.   We encourage you to bring your child to the conferences to discuss your child’s progress at school.    You will also have an opportunity to fill out the school survey during this time.    We look forward to meeting with you.    If you have missed any portion of this message, please visit our website at www.ewsis.org.     Please join us for our next PTA Meeting

    March 5, 2016 at 10:00 AM

    All parents and guardians are cordially invited to attend.

    The business portion of the meeting will offer updated news for parents.

    It will include reports from our school administrators and other staff members. As always, we will provide plenty of time for a question and answer period.  

    We will also be holding the second part of our Title 1 Parent Workshop

    by CONNECT NYC.

    Good Evening, this is the East-West school of International studies calling with an exciting announcement. On Monday February 29, 2016 from 11:00 am to 4:00 p.m. East-West will host its first Blood Drive with the support of the Red Cross.  We are encouraging all families and community members to help make a difference in the world and donate.  You can save a life with this simple act of kindness.  We hope to see you there.     MATH STATE TEST: April 13th to April 15th

    8th GRADE TRIP: May 13th

    SCIENCE PERFORMANCE TEST: May 25th to June 3rd (This is a one day test)

    SCIENCE WRITTEN TEST: June 6th

    LIVING ENVIRONMENT REGENTS: June 15th

    ALGEBRA COMMON CORE REGENTS: June 16th

    STEPPING UP CEREMONY: June 27th at 8:30 AM

    After-school tutoring will be available for Middle School testing

  • P/SAT Day on March 2nd

    Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016 

    All 11th grade students will take the SAT for FREE at East-West during the school day.

    All 10th graders will take the PSAT for FREE on that day.
